ConvergenCE is proud to announce the official opening of the new rooftop terrace at the ACADEMIA office building. Located in the heart of Budapest, this panoramic terrace offers tenants an inspiring space for relaxation, informal meetings and recharging — further enhancing the building’s human-centered features.

This latest addition complements a major recent achievement: the Modern Wing of ACADEMIA has been awarded the prestigious WELL Core™ Platinum Certification, the highest level in one of the world’s leading building standards focused on health and well-being.

At present, only five office buildings in Budapest have earned WELL Core™ Platinum Certification. Of these, four are newly built, while ACADEMIA is the only refurbished or existing building to reach this level. The WELL Certification evaluates how the built environment impacts human health across multiple criteria — including air and water quality, natural light, thermal and acoustic comfort, and mental well-being.

The ACADEMIA project was delivered in close collaboration between ConvergenCE and its expert partners, including Rewell Consulting (Kurucz Regina, WELL expert) and Greenbors Consulting (Gabriella Hegedűs, sustainability consultant). The office building is owned by a  Europa Fund — we thank the investor for their continued support and commitment to sustainable, people-first real estate development.
